Fish Hook Spring 2

Small freshwater spring vents located along the shoreline of Lake Ocklawaha / Rodman Reservoir in north-central Florida. These vents discharge groundwater from the Floridan aquifer into the impounded river-lake system created by Rodman Dam, contributing cool, clear spring water to the otherwise reservoir-influenced lake environment. While much of the original Ocklawaha River springs lie submerged beneath the reservoir, Fish Hook Spring 1 and Spring 2 remain identified as discrete spring outlets used in water-quality monitoring for the region.
