For quiet, visit weekdays in spring (April-May) or fall (September-October), mornings ideal. Water clarity is typically vivid but can cloud with Suwannee River backflow after rain. Check —look for stages at or below 42 ft (ideally 40–41 ft) for peak clarity, clearest from late fall to early spring during dry periods.
