Copper Spring
Magnitude 2Suwannee RiverOld TownPublic

A group of three adjacent vents that discharge near the south bank of the Suwannee River. Spring #2 is the largest pool and features an approximately 38 m × 25 m water body with a visible boil and a vent located near one bank at the base of banks roughly 3.5 m high. The water is typically a bluish-green tint, with noticeable copper-colored iron-rich staining along the banks and tree bases around the pool and run. The run from the spring flows slowly to the Suwannee River across roughly 150 m of shallow channel. Look for low stable water heights below 5 feet. Note the tide for the best experience.
