Brumbley Spring

A lesser-known spring, accessible by water via the public Wacissa River paddling trail, popular for kayaking and canoeing. Nestled in a rural, forested area within the Aucilla Wildlife Management Area, it’s part of a cluster of over 20 springs feeding the river. The spring itself is small and lacks direct public land access, requiring paddlers to approach from the river, with no facilities or entry fees. Best visited in dry seasons (late fall to early spring) for clearer water, as rain can cloud the river with runoff. Water clarity is likely when the gage height is below 20 ft, with optimal conditions around 15-18 ft
