Blue Run Spring

A turquoise-hued spring run and channel spot on the tidal Chassahowitzka River, commonly referred to by paddlers as "Blue Spring and The Crack". This is a freshwater spring vent mixed in tidal flow, creating a shallow swimming/kayaking pool. The river and spring-fed area are in a public wildlife corridor, part of the Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Refuge / WMA. Located about 4.8 miles west of Sugarmill Woods, there are no constructed docks or parking lots—entry is purely by paddlecraft from the main river.
