Descending into the cavern reveals crystal-clear, year-round 72°F water beneath an opening in the ceiling that fills the chamber with natural light. The spring is internationally known as a scuba diving destination, attracting both experienced divers and students for its exceptional underwater visibility and ancient geologic setting. Above ground, the property also offers amenities for visitors, making it a popular stop for those looking to experience one of Florida’s most distinctive natural attractions. General swimming is not allowed but if you are not scuba certified you can snorkel. Alcohol is only permitted in the campground. Pets are only permitted in the RV park. Swimming is permitted at John’s Oasis.
