Hays Spring 3

A group of natural spring vents (Hays Spring #1, #2, and #3) discharging clear groundwater into the Chipola River near Altha. These vents are part of the larger Chipola River spring system, with combined second-magnitude flows, and are best accessed by boat, kayak, or paddlecraft from the river. The spring run is over three miles long so be ready for a paddle. The run is partly in the Chipola River Wildlife Management Area. Check out all three. Hays Spring 1 is in the primary dataset.
