Accessible via CR 425 (no boat needed, entry fee), it’s a short walk from parking. Summer weekends draw divers—arrive by 8 AM. For quiet, visit weekdays in spring (April-May) or fall (September-October), mornings ideal. A cool thing to check out is the ship that was sank there. Pets are permitted in the park but not in the springs or buildings. Water clarity is typically vivid but can cloud with Suwannee River backflow after rain. Check —stable, low levels around 14 feet ensure clarity, clearest from late fall to early spring during dry periods.
