Accessible via CR 248 (no boat needed, free entry), it’s a short walk from the parking lot. Summer weekends draw crowds—arrive by 8 AM. For quiet, visit weekdays in spring (April-May) or fall (September-October), mornings ideal. There is a fee to enter as it is a county park. Check for stable levels around 20 feet for the best experience. As levels drop below 18.5 feet the available swimming area is significantly reduced and you’ll likely see some algae forming.
