It features a large concrete-edged pool with year-round 72 °F water and a natural spring run flowing into the surrounding lake and swamp forest. The park offers developed recreational amenities including a designated swimming area in the spring pool, canoe/kayak rentals, hiking trails, picnic grounds, and a historic mill restaurant. The Old Sugar Mill Pancake house is a favorite. Entering the cave while free diving is not permitted. Water is typically clear. Look for water levels below 3 feet for improving clarity.
