Magnitude 3Cedar Head SpringFort WhitePublic

Cedar Head Spring is one of the headwater vents of the Ichetucknee River, located within Ichetucknee Springs State Park. It emerges from a conical depression about 30 feet wide and flows into Blue Hole Spring and the main river. It's part of the first-magnitude Ichetucknee Springs Group, and the water remains clear and cool year-round, supporting rich aquatic life and popular for tubing, snorkeling, and ecological study. Typical low-flow stage is around 15.1–15.3 ft, and clarity remains excellent at or just below 16.0 ft, as these are baseflow-dominated levels with minimal surface runoff.
