Also called the Jug Spring is the largest of the seven springs in Ichetucknee Springs State Park near Fort White, FL. It’s rated as a first-magnitude spring, with a vent about 12 ft across descending 35 ft into a cavern, flowing clear, constant ~72 °F water into the spring run before joining the Ichetucknee River. The pool spans roughly 75 × 120 ft, surrounded by lush cypress swamp, and features a boardwalk, dock, and designated diving and tubing access points. Pets are permitted in the park but not the swimming areas. Paddling is permitted on the Ichetucknee River but paddle access is not available at this spring. Swimming is allowed at the spring but not in the river. Definitely read the park rules before going. This is one of the more strict parks. Expect clarity at a water heigh at or below 15.5 ft with conditions improving with lower levels.
