A freshwater karst spring vent. The spring emerges through a fissure in limestone into a small, clear pool and discharges cool groundwater from the Floridan aquifer into a short run that flows into nearby Cypress Spring run. The run was modified to avoid the meet the Cypress Spring run downstream of the headspring through a culvert.
