Trotter Lower Spring

A vent in the Homosassa–Trotter–Pumphouse Spring Group, issuing clear groundwater into the Homosassa River, just downstream of the Trotter Main and Upper Spring vents within Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. While part of a first‑magnitude group, Trotter Lower contributes a small fraction (~5 cfs or less)—classifying it as fourth-magnitude. Access is public via the river, as the vent lies along the river bank within the park boundary. Look for stable conditions and water heights below 5 feet for the best chance at clarity.
